There is a vertical tank in use, and an external coil needs to be wrapped around its lower head. However, the equipment operates in a wet H2S-corrosive environment, which requires heat treatment; therefore, gaskets must be added before welding the external coil. I was wondering if there are such images available, and what are the things to keep in mind?
Can’t we just weld the coil to the head and then perform heat treatment?
