Can a check valve be installed on the main pipe of the fire protection pipeline? No relevant standards were found, but I personally think there could be problems with the check valve, such as jamming of the check mechanism, which might prevent it from functioning as an emergency backup in fire situations

In a fire protection piping system, check valves can be installed at the pump outlet; there is no need to install them along the pipes. Depending on the size of the pipeline network, stop valves can be installed in different areas within it.
The instructions on floor 7 are very clear; we installed the check valve at the outlet pipe of the fire pump
