Our facility was built in 2005 to produce acrylic acid via the propylene oxidation process; at that time, regulations did not require the installation of emergency flares. However, now the safety authorities are demanding that such flares be added. Yet, the required safety distances leave no space available for their installation. Have any of you encountered a similar situation? How did you handle it?；
Firstly, since the safety supervision department has made such a request, they should provide the legal basis for it； Second, consult relevant experts to see if there are any solutions ；
After the changes, the building spacing does not meet the requirements, and some of these issues are indeed quite troublesome. However, the national standards do not reject all such solutions outright; in some cases, requirements regarding spacing can be met by using firewalls and other measures
Is the overall layout of the device this compact? Consider whether ground-level torches can solve this problem; the spacing is relatively small. Additionally, firewalls can be added on the third floor to reduce the required fire separation distance
