After eight years of working, how can one advance further in their professional field?

I have been working since 2008, which is over 8 years now. From an entry-level worker to an intermediate engineer (in electrical engineering, without a specialization in instrumentation), I feel that my professional knowledge has reached a bottleneck; how can I further expand my expertise? I would like to ask the seniors: P
Based on my personal advice and experience, I would like to share the following with you. First, it’s important to engage in practical work; only by doing things personally in one’s own field of expertise can one truly understand how things work and retain a strong impression of them. Second, one should read books related to that field in order to enhance their theoretical knowledge. Finally, by combining theory with practice, one can achieve the goal of integrating both aspects, and this way, one will naturally improve
With the level already so high, they still expect us to improve further – is it even possible for us to survive?
I’ve been in this field for over 5 years now; time really flies. Sometimes I feel very tired and exhausted
The attitude of keeping learning* is actually in high demand these days, especially in foreign-funded enterprises
Learning is endless; knowledge is updating so fast these days!
How can those of us who have been doing this job for three or four years without any professional skills cope?
