Last year we basically completed the heat tracing and insulation work, so that for a whole year we no longer need such things: without heat tracing, there is no risk of freezing damage. A lot of things are missing.
We are by the South China Sea, so we basically don’t have to worry about heat retention.

In the northern regions of our country, insulation and heat tracing are of utmost importance for the coal chemical industry; poor heat tracing or leaks pose a serious problem for operators. Therefore, comprehensive consideration is needed in terms of design, material selection, construction, and so on, with these aspects being given top priority.
In the south, steam tracing is generally sufficient; in the north, either steam tracing or spot tracing is used. Steam tracing is one aspect; at the same time, proper insulation is also necessary, and the steam traps in the return pipelines should be cleaned regularly.
I’m currently worried about this issue. The insulation for the existing project worked fine, but with the new project, while the transmitters and other devices have proper insulation, the oxygen analyzer has frozen and is not showing correct readings. However, the workshop is currently in production, so steam tracing for insulation cannot be carried out.
