The outlet valve at the first stage of the reciprocating compressor frequently experiences valve disc failure and high temperatures. What’s the reason?
It may be due to inconsistent spring elasticity, scaling, or an uneven valve seat.
Is it the valve disc of the primary exhaust valve assembly? Heat generation is mainly caused by air leakage, insufficient circulation water volume, or increased system resistance due to obstructions at the primary outlet. Frequent breakage of the valve plates is likely due to quality issues or excessive control of the temperature at the primary outlet, which prevents the valve plate material from withstanding the current operating temperatures.
A high temperature indicates an increase in the primary exhaust pressure; if this is the case from the moment the equipment leaves the factory, it suggests there is a problem with the design. If a non-original air valve is used, it may be that the force of the air valve spring was not measured properly during calibration. It’s also possible that your process gas has clogged the gas valve.
