For the Honeywell EPKS C300 DCS control system, how do I set up the alarm speakers at the operation station? Is it sufficient to simply plug in the speakers? I would like to ask those who have used this system before, thank you!
After the configuration is complete, why isn’t the sound continuous? Before confirmation could be obtained, the sound disappeared. What other settings can keep the sound continuous until confirmation?
Sound files need to be configured in the station; if SafeView is used, a separate STN file must be configured. By default, the PKS system sets the alarm to sound for 15 seconds the first time it is triggered, and for 60 seconds on subsequent triggers; therefore, the alarm sound does not persist continuously. If it did, multiple simultaneous alarms would cause confusion. Configuring alarms can be done in Control Studio; if authorized, it can also be performed at the station. Station - configure - Alarm & Event management - Alarms. Click on Alarm processing; here you can also set the desired alarm timing

When logging in with an operator account, it’s not possible to change the shape of the mouse pointer, as the settings are set for direct login to the station; I can’t access the Win7 system interface. But the operators want large mouse pointers, and I can’t change that. What should I do? I can’t give them ExperionAdmin accounts either.
As far as I know, this is set under Control Panel – Mouse, where you can adjust the shape and size of the mouse pointer. After making these changes, when you log in automatically, will the mouse not retain the style you changed?
It should be set up this way, but I am logged in as an OPER user, so I can’t access the WIN7 system interface and therefore cannot change these settings in the control panel. I get connected to STATION as soon as I log in. How can I change that?
First, disable the security settings for Oper so that it can access Windows; then log in to Oper within Windows, modify the cursor settings, and finally re-enable the security settings for Oper.
Could you be more specific? How do I cancel it?
