I am a woman in the chemical industry, with a bachelor’s degree from a 211 university; I have worked at a first-class design institute for 4 years. I worked on piping installation in the previous two years; currently, I am mainly engaged in process design. I have been involved in the preliminary stages of projects, in the development of process packages, and have served as the process supervisor for small-scale installations. I have also prepared feasibility studies, safety reports, and energy-saving reports. My boyfriend is going to work in Guangzhou, so I plan to quit my job and move there. I also searched online and found that there are very few design institutes in Guangzhou. Also, since I started working at a design firm right after graduating, I’m not sure what else I could do. Therefore, I would be very grateful if you could help me find jobs in Guangzhou – either in a design firm or in any other position that would suit my situation. State-owned companies or foreign companies are both acceptable. Thank you so much!
Getting a registration definitely makes it easier to get in, but then again, design firms don’t have much work these days, so it’s quite difficult to get in. Hehe, let’s see if it’s possible to work in a factory instead

Thank you all. I’m aware that the chemical industry is not doing well these days, and many design firms have no work to do. But as a woman who started working in design right after graduating, I really don’t know what other job I could take on. . . .
Enter the design institute of the petrochemical industry.
Since you have experience in developing process packages, you could also work in chemical companies on technical research and development. After some pilot tests, pilot production follows, which essentially involves preparing process packages; having done this kind of work gives you an advantage. The job market in design institutes is not very good, but it might be better in companies dealing with new materials or in the fine chemicals sector~
