Sources of waste heat: During the production process, hot water cools from 90–100°C to 70–80°C and is then returned to the boiler for reuse. During the production process, a large amount of waste heat is generated on site; this includes low-pressure steam at 0.1–0.3 MPa and hot water at around 100°C, which have utility value and can be used directly as a heat source to drive ORC screw expansion generator sets. Power generation purpose: Reduce the amount of power used for internal operations in the user’s factory. (2) Waste heat utilization in the C4 industry: C4 refers to a mixture of various alkanes, alkenes, dienes, and alkynes with four carbon atoms. Due to differences in raw material sources and processing methods, the composition of the resulting C4 fractions varies. The C4 fraction is known as liquefied petroleum gas; it is a flammable gas, but it is usually stored and transported in liquid form. Waste heat utilization: A large amount of steam at ~0.8MPa is generated during the production process, which holds great potential for utilization. The by-product steam and hot water in the recovery process system can be directly used as heat sources to drive the ORC screw expansion generator set.
