Epoxy storage tank transfer operation

The last edit to this post was made by Watcher Star on 2016-12-8 at 12:58. I’d like to ask everyone: is it true that for the transfer operation of epoxy storage tanks, only epoxy pumps can be used? Are there any other methods for pouring upside down? The company has two tanks, one in use and one as a backup. How do you transfer the liquid if one of them leaks?
Gravity flow can also be utilized by taking advantage of the liquid level difference, but care must be taken to control the flow rate to prevent the storage tank from collapsing.
I almost forgot to mention it – my two jars are in the same place, one in use and one as a backup.
But if the tank leaks, can nitrogen pressure still be used?
Use nitrogen to apply pressure and transfer the liquid by means of the pressure difference; be careful not to let the pressure difference be too large, in other words, the flow rate should not be too high
Have you tried doing this before? What was the outcome? Could it increase the leakage?
Apply vacuum to the spare tank, pump directly into it, or use a unloading arm to load it onto the tank truck
This would require adding more equipment, and the management isn’t happy about that
Don’t you have any equipment such as vacuum pumps in your factory? If not, we’ll have to use a pump to transfer the liquid from one tank to another
