**In July 2015, the State Administration of Work Safety issued the \"Notice on the Catalogue of Obsolete Safety Technologies and Equipment to Be Phased Out\" (Document No. An Jian Zong Ting Ke Ji [2015] 43), which explicitly prohibits the use of kettle-type vaporization processes and kettle-type jacketed heating processes for liquid chlorine vaporization, and recommends the use of coil-type or sleeve-type full-vaporizer processes instead. The full vaporization process using coil-type or sleeve-type vaporizers involves maintaining a temperature higher than the boiling point of nitrogen trichloride, which is 71°C. When liquid chlorine enters the tubes, the high temperature causes both liquid chlorine and nitrogen trichloride to evaporate instantly, thereby preventing the accumulation of nitrogen trichloride. Therefore, the vaporization temperature of liquid chlorine must not be lower than 71°C; it is recommended to maintain the temperature of the hot water at 75–85°C. A special vaporizer heated by steam can also be used, but the temperature must not exceed 121°C. The vaporization pressure is controlled in interlock with the feed control valve, while the vaporization temperature is controlled in interlock with the steam control valve.
