Looking at the information online regarding grease injection for ball valves, it seems that grease is injected at a single point. Can this method provide sealing in case of an emergency?

Larger-sized valves generally have two grease injection ports, one at the packing and one at the valve seat. A grease gun is used to inject grease. The grease injection in ball valves is not intended for lubrication; rather, it is used in emergency situations when leakage occurs due to a failure of the sealing elements, to fill the sealing packing or valve seat with grease, thereby creating a seal. After this process, the valve must be sent back to the factory for repair
