For the special valves of WEILAN in coking units, is it necessary to install flow control orifice plates at each steam injection point? If you have orifice plates, what is their size?
The valve spool steam seal is equipped with an orifice plate, 5mm in size.
Has there been any change in coking of the special valve after adding the orifice plate? How much steam can be saved?
After removing it during maintenance, no coking was observed. Such valve designs all have steam seals, right?
Sure, all designs include vapor seals, and the amount of gas required for valve design varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. I’m worried that the gas volume will be too low and cause coking; if there’s no coking, it’s feasible.
