As the title says. After checking the standards, both JB/T 8097 and GB/T 29531 apply to devices other than submersible pumps; but what is the standard applicable to submersible pumps?
It is recommended to follow GB/T 29531 or SHS01003-2004; these two standards have been adopted by the pump manufacturing industry, with strict requirements. Advantages: 1. Ensures long-term, full-capacity, and optimal operation of the equipment ; 2. Promote the upgrading of the pump industry ; 3. Promote the development of national industry ; 4. Enhance the competitiveness of national industries in the world.
But it clearly states how it can be applied other than with submersible pumps
Each manufacturer sets it differently; J.C Carter’s setting is 5 mm/s, with a high alarm at 7.5 and a very high alarm at 10.
This thing tends to break down often; this month we’re going to Haikou to repair the vibration monitoring systems at a receiving station – two of them have broken down, and it’s necessary to retrieve the pumps.
