There is a new valve, a ball valve with an on/off function. Since it’s not possible to test it on-site, I was wondering if it’s possible to connect a 24V power supply directly to the solenoid valve and the feedback switch. The solenoid valve can then be controlled via the switch to open or close the valve, and the status of the feedback proximity switch can be determined by measuring the voltage across the terminals of the feedback junction box
The poster is using an inductive response switch, right? It’s possible to determine whether it’s working properly by measuring the voltage; for example, it’s around 8V when it’s close and 4V when it’s far away. In this way, it’s possible to tell if the switch is functioning correctly, and both the open and closed contacts need to be tested.
Mm-hmm, I just want to know if it’s possible to connect it directly to 24V power – whether that will damage the components. In theory it’s feasible; it’s a simple way to determine whether everything is working properly
It is necessary to check the operating voltage of the reply switch; if it is not around 24V, it will not function and may even get damaged.

Those with solenoids are pneumatic valve actuators. How can you get it to work without a gas supply? It needs to be connected to a gas source and powered with 24V voltage in order to be adjusted.
