Who asks about the inn? Only the dim light is comforting. As the year draws to a close, there’s a person far away, yet to return. -------Dai Shulun
On festive occasions, one misses family even more~~~~ It’s almost time again to feel homesick
Working away from home too? It’s still rooted outside. Go home and visit often
I’m going home tomorrow. Although it’s not far, it’s still my hometown – a place I can never forget
Between the soul and the body, one is always on the road; for those who are working away from home, their hometown and loved ones represent poetry and distant dreams.
Who among colleagues will ask? Only the phone is dear. As the year draws to a close, there’s a person far away, yet to return. Thoughts upon rereading this poem.
