Fog mai is a trending topic being shared on social media recently. Instead, provinces such as Henan and Shandong are more prominently represented on the ranking list. What does this mean? All cars are treated uniformly; those that do not meet the emission standards are not allowed on the roads. So what happens to these cars that cannot be driven? After all, there is no policy for exchanging them for a discount. If the chemical industry is shut down or relocated, what will happen to the livelihood of many workers who are currently employed there? The chemical industry is one of the most fundamental sectors in a country, and its consequences can be severe. Smart humans have discovered new energy sources; what truly changes things in chemical manufacturing are new processes, and this is a topic that requires extensive research over a long period of time. A gradual replacement process. What is the root cause of the fog? Who exactly is to blame: coal burning, vehicle exhaust, the chemical industry, and even the food service industry. What is the most fundamental reason of all? It seems there is no definite conclusion. We all thought that humanity had already achieved great capabilities, but the disappearance of MH370 seemed to serve as a harsh wake-up call; now, the challenge of combating air pollution has arisen once again.
