For steel heat treatment furnaces operating at around 1200°C with ceramic fiber lining, what are the disadvantages? In terms of construction, what about insulation performance, durability, etc.?
For this temperature, ceramic fiber modules containing zirconium and with a thermal insulation thickness of 350 mm should be used; a composite structure consisting of 300 mm thick fiber modules along with 2 layers of 30 mm thick ceramic fiber blankets can also be employed.
