There are many reasons for high dry gas pressure. Firstly and most importantly, an increase in the amount of reactant feed, a change in the properties of the raw materials with an increase in the content of heavy metals, higher catalyst activity, and elevated reaction temperatures can all lead to an increase in the amount of dry gas and thus higher dry gas pressure. Additionally, insufficient absorption and excessive desorption result in a larger volume of lean gas, which also contributes to high dry gas pressure. A shortage of absorbent oil in the absorption tower can likewise cause high dry gas pressure; On the other hand, a malfunction in the dry gas pressure control valve, which causes it to close down or indicates a fault, can also lead to high dry gas pressure. Additionally, pressure buildup in the downstream equipment due to double disconnection can likewise result in high dry gas pressure
