Surge generally occurs in centrifuges; reciprocating machines only have circuits, such as one-in-one or two-in-one. . . One-to-one is generally used for flow regulation, while one-to-two and the compressor outlet circuit are typically used as a backup. My personal understanding is for reference only: lol
