According to the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, Class C liquid storage tanks can be placed inside a factory building, provided that their volume does not exceed 5 cubic meters. Strictly speaking, Class A liquid storage tanks cannot be placed inside a factory building. So here’s the question: my resin processing area is located within the factory building, and methanol is used as the desorption agent. I need 3 storage tanks with a capacity of 5 cubic meters each, to be placed next to the resin storage area. According to the regulations, aren’t storage tanks for Class A and B liquids allowed to be placed inside the factory building? ? How did you guys do it? ? Don’t you have any storage tanks for Class A or B liquids in your factory? ? ?
The Class A and B intermediate storage tanks required by the process can be placed in the workshop. Please help, Xiaohonghua :)

Article 3.3.7 of the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings.
Interpretation of Article 3.4.6 of the Building Code: The distance between outdoor equipment containing flammable chemicals and the building to which it belongs is primarily determined based on process requirements; this code does not specify any requirements in this regard. Since there are no spacing requirements for outdoor equipment, small storage tanks can be installed indoors. If only indoor material tanks are installed, the fire risk of the building needs to be re-evaluated.
