Emergency eye wash stations are an important safety device for ensuring safe production in workshops. To maintain the proper functionality of these stations, the workshop adopts a three-level management system: the workshop supervisor is responsible for addressing any potential issues with the equipment, while the workshop staff are tasked with checking key equipment and carrying out routine maintenance. Operators are responsible for conducting thorough inspections and keeping records of any equipment defects. In addition, by integrating factory-wide safety management practices, regular inspections are strengthened to identify potential problems with various workshop equipment early on, thereby allowing for prompt formulation of corrective plans and their implementation. This ensures that emergency eye wash stations function properly in emergency situations when they are needed, providing equipment-based support for safe production. Contents and results of safety hazard inspections in the workshop: 1. Personal safety: Workshop employees wear their safety equipment properly; they receive safety training before starting work, and safety procedures are emphasized during pre-shift meetings, with regular safety lectures also held. Regularly organize on-site drills for workers regarding the operation of emergency eye wash station equipment. 2. Equipment safety: All major safety hazards related to workshop equipment and special equipment have been eliminated. 3. Fire safety: Warning signs are in good condition throughout the workshop, and fire extinguishers are available in all areas. 4. Site safety: The workshop is equipped with proper safety barriers, and materials are stored in an organized manner. On XX, XX month, XX year, city safety inspection officers conducted a routine safety check on our company and identified the following safety hazards: 1. Inadequate procedures for the entry and exit of goods and vehicles into and out of the factory ; 2. Insufficient human body static electricity elimination devices and insufficient eye wash stations in Class A areas ; 3. The storage of materials in Class A warehouses does not meet the specified requirements, and miscellaneous items are not cleared in a timely manner ; 4. The Class A workshop uses electronic scales; some wire ducts in the explosion-proof area do not meet the explosion-proof requirements, and the lifting hooks lack safety locks. Below are the steps taken for rectification: The safety hazards identified during the inspection have been addressed within the specified deadline as follows. Redesign the registration form for vehicles entering and leaving the company for delivery/pickup. The information to be recorded includes: the license plate number of the vehicle entering/leaving, the purpose for which the vehicle is used, the vehicle’s maximum load capacity, the valid period of the vehicle’s inspection, the driver’s name, the driver’s licensing number, the valid period of the driver’s license, the name of the escort, the escort’s licensing number, the valid period of the escort’s license, the name of the goods, the quantity of goods being delivered/picked up, any goods carried by the vehicle itself, the actual load weight when leaving the factory, the time of entry/exit from the factory, and the security officer on duty ; The security staff are responsible for controlling the vehicles entering and leaving the workshop. Strict requirements are placed on team leaders to supervise and guide the various processes and operations on site; a safety sign stating \"Workers must refuse to carry out tasks if the team leader is not present\" has been installed. Signage and instruction panels have also been put up around the emergency eye wash stations to ensure that all operations are carried out in a standardized manner. In addition, 8 sets of anti-static devices for human use were purchased and installed at the entrances and exits of Class A warehouses and Class A workshops. Six sets of emergency eye wash stations were purchased and installed at the exits of Class A workshops and Class A and B warehouses. All personnel working at these locations have received hands-on training on how to use these emergency eye wash stations. To ensure the achievement of safety production goals, emphasis was placed on strengthening safety inspections and the rectification of potential hazards. Enterprises are required to always adhere to the principle of \"strictly focusing on the rectification of safety measures,\" to conduct thorough inspections for safety defects and potential hazards. For the identified hazards and weak points, corrective actions must be taken; all feasible solutions and measures should be employed to intensify these rectifications, ensuring that no hazard goes unaddressed and no area is overlooked. Based on the results of the inspections, efforts to address safety hazards are carried out in a planned and step-by-step manner, taking into account the severity and urgency of each issue. It is also important to strictly enforce the relevant regulations set by safety authorities during the rectification process, as well as to implement proper safety measures for employees, thereby laying a solid foundation for the long-term and healthy development of safe production practices.
