Dear colleagues and experts: Which laws, regulations, or rules stipulate that the annual monitoring report on radioactive sources must be submitted to the relevant environmental protection authorities by January 31st, for the previous year?
Article 23 of the Regulations on the Safety Management of the Transport of Radioactive Materials: Manufacturers of transport containers for Class I and Class II radioactive materials shall assign unified codes to such containers in accordance with the coding rules established by the nuclear safety regulatory authority under the State Council, and shall submit a list of the codes for the transport containers used during the previous year to that regulatory authority for record-keeping by January 31 of each year. Article 24: Units engaged in the manufacturing of transport containers for Category III radioactive materials shall, by January 31 of each year, submit records of the types and quantities of transport containers manufactured in the previous year to the nuclear safety regulatory authority under the State Council for filing. Hello, thank you very much for your answer. But our organization is not responsible for transporting radioactive sources; we are merely a user entity. What you mean is that similar cases are all summarized on January 31st (we only conduct annual monitoring)
