In the blink of an eye, 2016 is coming to an end. I would like to express my gratitude to all the moderators, technical staff, and members in this industry section. I am also thankful to the forum leaders who have provided support to this section. I believe that Haichuan Forum will be able to serve its members even better in 2017, continuing to play a leading role in the field of Chinese chemical forums. Looking back at 2016, affected by international oil prices, capacity reduction measures, and the strictest environmental regulations in the country’s history, the various sections within the industry forum were also impacted. Overall, the moderators of these sections were diligent and responsible, handling evaluations, post submissions, and management tasks in a timely manner. This was especially true for sections such as chlor-alkali, PVC, air separation, polymers, and fine chemicals. It is also worth mentioning the less popular sections within our industry forum, such as those related to soda ash and sulfuric acid; their moderators continued to carry out their duties with great dedication. They deserve recognition for this. In 2016, the forum further improved its functions, with a focus on launching the Haichuan WeChat official account; we hope everyone will pay active attention to it. We welcome all potential sponsors; a contribution of 3,000 yuan or more will suffice.
