Good methods for preventing pipe freezing

For drainage in winter, at a height of 4.5 meters above the ground, I plan to use a DN25 pipe for drainage. Considering the issue of preventing freezing of the pipe, apart from providing heat tracing and insulation, are there any other simpler solutions? We used to have to drain water every hour, and the pipes would freeze; later we installed electric heating, which improved things a lot. Now we need to add more pipes for drainage, so we have to consider ways to prevent the pipes from freezing. I’m wondering if there’s a way to avoid the need for heating; in pipes where water flows and heat exchange is poor, will such pipes not freeze? ?
Make the diameter of the drainage pipes larger, such as 2 inches, so that they are less likely to freeze
We have a DN25 ball valve on our pipeline; we originally planned to run a pipe there up to the ground level. If it’s 2 inches in diameter, it seems like there would be a need for a size reduction. Thank you, friend
