In 308, the sealing surface material refers to the material used for welding on the valve seat, not the material of the valve seat itself! However, for gate valves designed in accordance with the American standard API600, we generally use a WCB valve body, with the seat made of A105+13CR ; It’s actually the same in the standards as well ; However, some staff in design institutes may misunderstand the situation, resulting in valve seats being made of 13CR material while 410 is used (and CA15 for the gate). Such cases do occur! ! Generally, it is not recommended to do this when considering design costs and materials! It’s still something like A105+13CR!
