Our company currently has a section of steam pipeline of DN50 and 10kg (pressure pipeline has been reported). It needs to be rectified. Are there any procedures that need to be followed?

The design institute issues drawings and a qualified installation unit performs the installation. It needs to be notified before installation.
Pipes with DN≥50 and working pressure ≥0.1MPa (10kg) are pressure pipelines. You can find the original design unit or a design unit with GC2 qualifications to design, and then find a unit with GC2 installation qualifications. It needs to be reported to the safety supervision bureau of the construction site. This is probably the case. It is recommended to consult the installation unit. They often do this and are more familiar with the process.
What should be rectified? It’s not clear whether it was a transformation or not. This must be a pressure pipeline. It needs to be notified before construction. It is not a GC1 pipeline. What is the content of the pipeline modification? It would be much easier if there was no need for on-site supervision.
First go to the archives room and find the original drawings.
There were no compensators or U-shaped bends during the original installation. Now some of the pipes are deformed. We are going to replace them and add compensators.

If the number of added U-shaped bends is not large, as long as the notification is successful, the construction can be carried out according to the drawing. After the construction is completed, the construction unit will issue a quality certificate for pressure pipeline reconstruction. Subsequently, you can go to the supervision agency to go through the corresponding procedures with the quality certificate. Of course, construction materials are essential.
Can we produce the drawings ourselves, or should we require the design institute to produce them?

We now want to change this pipe to DN40 to avoid later risks. Is this feasible?
