For pipes connected by socket welding or threading, are pipe clamps necessary? At what interval should they be installed?
Why is it necessary? Nothing is necessary, right?
For socket weld connections or NPT connections, welding is not possible; in such cases, clamping connections should be used. The additional length depends on the processing length of the pipes; it’s the same as the length of each pipe when it arrives at the site. Generally, it’s about six meters per piece
For socket welding, it is generally used for diameters below DN40, and no pipe clamps are required. For threaded pipes such as galvanized pipes used for clean air handling, pipe clamps seem to be needed every 6 meters
