Is it necessary to install a valve for preheating the pipes at the end of the steam system pipes?

I would like to ask an expert: I am working on a project, and the client has suggested installing a valve for preheating at the end of the steam pipeline. When steam use starts up each day, this valve should be opened so that the mixture of steam and condensate can flow directly out through it, thereby preheating the pipeline. Is such a practice feasible?
This is similar to the purge valve used during the purging of steam pipes; it can be installed, but care must be taken regarding safety during use. However, we generally do not install such a valve. When warming up the pipes, it is sufficient to open the valve slowly, with the condensate being discharged through the drain valve.
I agree with the view from the second floor, but temporary heating pipe valves should be installed during the steam purging process. A section of protective pipe should be added after the preheating valve at the end of the steam pipeline, leading it to the gutter
I have a question: the property owner has reported that, with the current design, there is a lot of water drainage during the heating process, and this drainage lasts for about half an hour. Is this normal?
It mainly depends on the length of the pipeline; the longer it is, the more time it takes. Half an hour isn’t much at all – for our longer pipelines, it can take half a day or even a whole day

Valves used for preheating at the end of the pipeline are very useful; they help to push air, other non-condensable gases, and low-temperature condensate to the end of the pipeline when the pipe is cold. It is advisable to install exhaust valves and drain valves, and if possible, float-type drain valves equipped with a draining mechanism. The condensate pipes installed at the other end also differ from the pipes arranged at other drain points; otherwise, their effectiveness would be limited.
