I would like to ask a few questions: 1. Is it required to use a blind flange to seal the end of the water cut-off pipe for spherical tanks? Or can either a blind flange or a plug be used? 2. When should thread plugs or blind flanges be used at the end of a pipe? Is there a specific division regarding the scope of use for these two methods? Plug valves are easy to remove; use them for those that need to be taken off frequently, while blind flanges are used for those that don’t need to be removed often.
Well, that’s what we do as well. Currently, the boss has asked us to find out the specific standards, and to understand the differences between the use of plug valves and blind flanges.
