The pump outlet pipeline is 1000 mm in diameter; originally, a backwash pipeline with a diameter of 100 was installed on it. Recently, in order to accommodate the catalyst, a pipe with a diameter of 30 was added to the drain connection of the backwash pipeline. On-site observation showed that pipes No. 100 and No. 30 were shaking violently, and their handwheels had become somewhat loose. I was wondering if it’s appropriate to add pipelines in this way? What issues need to be considered? If possible, please explain in detail. I’m a complete beginner in the chemical industry; thank you very much
The design is a mess; isn’t it difficult to arrange it like this? Was it designed by your welders?
