Is the testing cost for welded heads too high? Although the installation cost specified includes the expense for testing valves, it is still far less than the cost of welding end caps

I have always been against on-site pressure testing. Conducting inspection and testing at the manufacturing plant is the best guarantee. It is best for the user to assign inspectors to the factory for supervision and inspection.
They are connected in series using steel pipes, with a plug plate at the end; the compressor is connected at the beginning – that’s how we apply pressure.
Large welding valves are still tested in the factory, but supervision and owner’s representatives need to be present as witnesses; otherwise, there will be no documentation to verify this step during installation. 2. The factory has specialized pressure testing equipment; conducting pressure testing on-site is quite troublesome. Small-scale pressure testing equipment can be purchased separately, but for large valves, it is recommended to have the testing carried out under the supervision of the factory.
