I try to create axonometric drawings using CAD, but it’s difficult; moreover, the resulting drawings don’t look good, with significant size errors. It’s especially hard to determine the vertical relationship between two pipes that seem to intersect
Axonometric view, ISO view; not 1:1. The layout plan is the one that is 1:1. Also, is the upper left generally the north direction? Not the lower right.
It’s not for professional use; it’s not meant for formal occasions. It’s drawn for my own reference, so I can easily see the layout of all the pipes in the plant. The piping arrangement here is quite chaotic, with more and more new pipelines being added. How can we keep track of the approximate location and direction of each pipe? I think drawing axonometric diagrams is the simplest way
It’s still just drawing; you might as well model it directly, since it can be viewed from any angle. Otherwise, from today’s perspective, two more will be added tomorrow, blocking things; then 8 more will be added the day after, blocking them again.
Use CAD modeling to generate axonometric drawings?
Modeling is sufficient; axonometric drawings are not needed.
How is the construction carried out? Construct according to the floor plan? No axonometric view?
