What are the differences between the bolt standards BG/T5782-2000, SH3404, HG20634, BG/T901, and JB/T2773?
GB/T 5782-2000 Hex head bolts; SH/T 3404-2013 Fasteners for steel pipe flanges in the petrochemical industry; HG/T 20634(20613)-2009 Fasteners for steel pipe flanges – Class series (PN series); GB/T 901-1988 Equal-length double-headed studs, Grade B; JB/T 2773-1992 Double-headed studs with pressures ranging from PN16.0 to 32.0 MPa – This standard is no longer in use. Can you tell the difference just by looking at the titles? !
They are all fasteners; the standards vary, but are there any similarities or possibilities for substitution in terms of actual specifications and dimensions?
There are too many bolt standards in China; it’s hard to know which one to use. The ASME standards are actually more useful
Broadly speaking, these standards include general ones (GB) and specialized ones (SH, HG).
The selection of bolts is carried out in accordance with the corresponding flange standards. SH bolts are paired with SH standard bolts. HG bolts are used in conjunction with HG standard bolts.
