This may also be related to the assembly precision and welding quality of the on-site construction team; if the pipe clamp is long, it can be welded on both the inside and outside of the pipe cap, after which the cap can be installed – in that case, there should be no problem.
The construction team’s concerns are valid; logically speaking, if the Quality Supervision Bureau is strict about obtaining permits for this site, the company in question must not only have the qualifications for installing pressure pipelines but also the appropriate qualifications for handling pressure vessels. Of course, this also depends on whether the owner has done their job properly, as the Quality Supervision Bureau won’t go through the equipment installation drawings in detail.
