Flange calculated inner diameter

As shown in the figure below, when calculating the flange, which dimension should be used as the reference for the flange’s inner diameter? Why?
D1: The calculation takes into account takeover and weld strength!
Is the weld at D2 useless? Isn’t the flange bending moment length calculated from D2?
It should be D1; the inner diameter of the socket weld flange should be equal to the outer diameter of the pipe

In the calculation for a 150 flange, Di refers to the inner diameter of the flange or the end of the cylinder; according to this definition, it should be D2, right? Moreover, when calculating flanges with SW6 and a standard flange is selected, the value of Di is the inner diameter of the cylinder!
