Could any expert provide a process flow diagram of the steam pipeline carrying external steam into the plant, including the instrument control points? Thank you! Note: 1. A flow meter must be installed to measure flow when entering our factory premises ； 2. Pressure reduction is required (temperature reduction is not necessary) ； 3. After entering the plant area, it goes through processes such as metering, pressure reduction, and filtration before reaching the steam distribution cylinder.
The process was already explained by the original poster – it’s necessary to seek a design firm for the design work.
If your company experiences large fluctuations in steam flow, and the measurement has lower and upper limits, a regenerator can be installed after the flow meter. A steam separator can be installed before or after the flow to improve steam quality ； It is recommended that the pressure reduction station be located as close as possible to the equipment that uses steam, and that pressure reduction not take place at the inlet.
