Difference between needle-type globe valves and regular globe valves

Pin-type stop valves are commonly used for shutting off small-diameter pipes; therefore, they are suitable as valves in front of pressure gauges. Of course, choose with caution when the micro-pressure and negative-pressure pressure conduits are thick.
The valve in front of the pressure gauge is usually a needle-type globe valve. I’ve also seen ones that use stop valves
The needle valve operates on the same principle as a globe valve, except that its sealing surfaces are different; the needle valve is smaller in size
Personally, I think needle valves have good sealing performance
