Gentlemen, does anyone have any maintenance information on hard-sealed hemispherical ball valves? Could you give some advice?
What’s broken? Is the handwheel stuck? Internal leakage?
This needs repair; it depends on whether it’s the sealing surface or something else
It is recommended that you have it repaired by a professional manufacturer; internal leakage is quite difficult to address, as the repair costs are high – the sphere and the valve seat sealing surfaces need to be rewelded or coated.
This hard-sealed hemispherical valve with a fixed ball structure should have a simple principle of operation; first, disassemble it to check the wear condition of the valve seat sealing surface and the hemispherical surface.
