Our company specializes in chemical process pipelines, and it is necessary to install check valves at the purging ports of these pipelines. The pipe diameter is DN50; vertical installation is required, with the flow direction from top to bottom. What type of check valve can be used?
Can’t we change the direction? It seems I’ve never seen it from a top-down perspective
The diameter of this type of check valve is not large; you can try using a wafer-type lift check valve of the H71W model, with springs that have greater elasticity – this will help overcome the weight of the valve disc and enable it to return to its original position automatically when closed
