Do buried pipelines include those laid in trenchs? Are there any relevant standards addressing this? Pipes carrying corrosive media should not be laid in pipe trenches; are there any relevant specifications addressing this?

Direct-buried pipelines are different from pipelines laid in trenches; you can take a look at standard CJJ34-2010
