This is an unfair clause with no basis in fixed standards. I also often deal with RT units, and in those cases, if the length is less than one meter, it is still counted as one meter.
My situation is rather complicated, as there are few units in our area that offer this kind of RT testing. The cost is around 200 yuan per meter, and the price varies depending on whether the welds are straight or curved. Invoices are not issued, and the willingness to carry out such tests on a casual basis depends on the discretion of the person in charge.
