Does anyone know what kind of heater is generally used to heat pipes? Ceramic heating wire, glass fiber heating, electric tracing, ? Pipe DN80, length 800mm, power 2kw.
It is suggested that the poster clarify the purpose of heating? Heating? Process medium heating (internal heating or external heating?) ) Process medium properties?
External heating is used, with steam (160°C) and nitrogen as the media in the pipes. Nitrogen is relatively cold, so external heating is necessary to prevent the steam from condensing upon contact with nitrogen, as well as to compensate for heat losses in the pipes
