There is a project that features two types of fittings: Branch Fitting Plain and Branch Outlet; the latter being a branch outlet unit. What is the former? I haven’t seen it; please give me some advice, friends.

Regarding this specification for pipe fittings, it was established in accordance with the standard \"GB/T14383-2008 Forged Socket-Welding and Threaded Fittings\". The corresponding American standard is \"ASME B16.11 Forged Fittings, Socket-Welding and Threaded\", and the national standard was formulated with reference to this American standard, as clearly stated in the standard itself. Here’s the issue: according to American standards, the corresponding names for these double-socket pipe couplings and single-socket pipe couplings are \"coupling\" and \"half coupling\", respectively – not \"Branch Fitting Plain\" as used in my project. Please help analyze it.
For ordinary branch installation, is it a saddle-shaped connection, and is a branch pipe support not required? Is the material provided as fittings?

May I ask which standard includes this technical term? As I mentioned earlier, the commonly used standards abroad are ASME B16.11 and MSS_SP, but neither of these standards contains the technical term \"Branch Fitting Plain\".
The standards for this Shell product are detailed in the attached diagram; it solves the problem perfectly. Where is the reward?

ASME B16.11 and MSS_SP are the most fundamental standards, and many companies develop additional designs based on them
