Well, it seems that the original poster is familiar with pipeline work; regarding the principle of aligning the bolt holes in prefabricated flanges, there are generally no issues. It should be fine to use some kind of brackets as supports
Personally, I suggest using a V-shaped fixture – something similar to the corners of angle iron, with those corners on the ground and the sides pointing upwards. By placing the flanges and pipes on it, it’s easier to ensure verticality; then check the angle of the bolt holes as well.
Select a screw rod corresponding to the flange bolt holes and pass it through the two flanges; then weld the pipes together in alignment
If you want to speed things up, buy a dedicated alignment machine.
This is a simple alignment mechanism – very convenient and practical
Agreed. When we produce such welded parts, we also need similar mold-type tools to complete the process
