Dear experts, our company has received an overseas trade order to purchase gaskets, but the boss says he can’t understand it. Could you please help check what data is missing? DN200, 4.5 MM thickness, spiral wound with graphite filler; inner and outer rings made of SS DSS UNS 32750 duplex steel. Only DN200 is specified here – is the pressure data missing? NB25, 4.5 MM thick. SS 316L with graphite filler; inner and outer rings made of SS316L. It’s a gasket made of 316 stainless steel for both the inner and outer layers. NB25 is in inches, right? It doesn’t seem to have any pressure data either And what standards govern the dimensions of these two types of winding gaskets? Is there a standard number that can be looked up? Also, besides the difference in materials (duplex steel and 316) and between metric and imperial units, are there any other differences between the first type and the second type? Why is the first one SPIRAL WOUND and the second one WOUND? OD32 NON METAL FLAT RING GASKET, 3.0mm THICK, 150 RF, PTFE, DIMENSIONS PER ASME 16.21. It’s a PTFE gasket; I checked the ASME 16.21 standard and there is no OD32 size specified for 150 pounds Is OD32 in MM or inches? Upon checking ASME B16.21 for the 150-pound class, there isn’t a size of DN200 either There are no design standards; the design standards should be 16.20.
