What does “vert 45°” mean on a piping layout diagram? Newcomer’s solution
Connected at 45° angle. Generally, this is how branch pipes of gas lines are connected to the main pipe in order to reduce pressure loss.
vert=vertical, the vertical direction, right?

Vert does indeed refer to the vertical direction; the gas pipeline is inserted at a 45° angle from directly above. Just take a screenshot and show it to everyone, and they’ll understand
