Did you see that many drain valves in a process use butterfly valves? I’m a bit surprised – can butterfly valves really achieve such good sealing? Am I falling behind? Don’t butterfly valves necessarily have some level of leakage?
Butterfly valves are generally used in large-diameter pipes; they are not typically used in small-diameter pipes such as those for drainage. Take a look at the image on the home page – isn’t the way the valve is drawn in that image different from the conventional drawing style?

To prevent the valve from getting clogged, using a ball valve or gate valve would also work, right? I’m not very skilled with butterfly valves, and I don’t understand why either :D

For the drain pipe, it’s probably DN20 or DN25, right?
