Do those pipes need to be pressure-tested? For example, do air pipelines need to be pressure-tested, and what about vent pipelines?

Any pressure pipeline must undergo a pressure test; it has to be done regardless of any regulations. As for vent pipes, it is impossible to perform pressure testing by installing a valve at the pipe outlet.
