In university, I studied boilers in the field of thermal energy and power engineering. However, I am very optimistic about the valve industry, so I want to get into it and learn how to design valves; I’m currently a complete beginner. I tried to read books on my own, but I made little progress. Therefore, I would like to ask the experts here: are there any recommended training courses or schools? Let me try to analyze it for you: 1. The prospects in the valve industry are not as good as those in the automotive industry. Even automobile parts manufacturing has better prospects than valves. 1. The most important point regarding future prospects: Cars are almost becoming everyday items; can valves become such items? It’s impossible. In the future, cars will continue to be purchased and replaced. Although valves do exist, can their quantity match that of cars? 2. Valves are related to energy and also to liquefied petroleum gas; the largest users of valves are actually industries involved in oil and gas, including the chemical industry as well. You can imagine that the future should belong to electricity and nuclear energy; the prospects for oil are certainly not as good as those for electricity. You might think that some valves are used in cars, but the valves found in cars are different from the vast majority of valves mentioned in this forum; they are not the same thing.
